apparently locals are getting the money together to buy them.

they were put up for sale a while ago.

sounds more like a story line from "johnny english"

Certainly locally we are all well aware that the intention is that The Port of Dover becomes a "peoples Port" in public ownership, which many are in favour of.

However, as for selling off the white cliffs, well why would the French want them? :-/ :-/ :D :D :D ;)

The French have been known to say Calais should be given to the English instead!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D :)

It seems to me that The Mail is off on one again!! ::) ::) ::) ;)
