Passed at 18 so been driving 31/32 years.
Too many to mention including 2 yank cars and a Yosh tuned Honda 550
Besides the Elite the 2 I liked the most were the Sylvia Turbo and the Pontiac Brick. ::)
-
Sorry here's a few that I would rather forget,
2 BMC 1100's 1300Allegro 1800 marina.
-
Been driving 34 years and have lost count on how many cars, working in the motor trade they come and go all the time :y
-
Seems like a few of us are giving our ages away now. ;D :-X
-
Driving: 27 years.
Owned:
Triumph 2000
Cortina Mk II 1600
Opel Manta (Berlinetta)
Astra GTE MkII
Carlton 2.0 GLS Manual
Carlton 2.0 GLS Auto
Omega 2.5td Elite Auto
Omega 2.5td CD Manual
Seems a bit pointless quoting 'cars driven'. Where d'ya draw the line ? Test drives, hire cars, mates cars, courtesy cars, moving cars in my mates garage, cars taken home overnight, works vehicles....
Ex-forces members could list Tanks etc. :D
-
15 years, owned in this order:
1986 Ford Sierra 2.0 LX

2003 Vauxhall Astra 2.2 Linea Rossa
2004 Vauxhall Omega 3.2 V6 Irmscher MV6
1999 Vauxhall Omega 3.0 V6 MV6
not many really considering i bought three of them in the last 12 months. its mainly because i've had my 97 omega elite since 2003/4, and in that time i had no desire to change because the car is so fantastic ;D

Cars - 32 years. Not that many, I tend to keep them a long time.
HB Viva
MGBGT & Ford Corsair - never actually drove either of them. Bought and sold the MG as a non runner. Got given the Corsair but gave it to someone else without ever driving it.
Hillman Avenger 1500. Put some decent suspension on it, handled quite well. Had a couple of pretty big accidents in it. More Isopon than metal in the end.
Chevette HS - still mourning that one.
Ford Crapi 1.6 GT - bag o sh1te
Vauxhall viceroy - first big car - I liked it
Ford Sierra 2.0 - bag o sh1te
Senator 3.0 24valve - loved that car. miss it.
Peugeot 205 gti 1.6 - bought as a project and sold on for a nice profit.
Omega 2.5 p/fl - lots of trouble until the last year, when it was eventually sorted. It started to grow on me just before I sold it.
Peugeot 205 1.0 & Polo 1.0 had them at the same time as the Mig, as cars to go to work i. Blew the engines up in both of them. ::)
Merc C180 1998 - still got it. Going to lose more than half what it owes me. :'(....not a bad car, but too sluggish for the 31mpg.
Omega 2.5 LPG Facelift. Already sorted and cheaper to run than the 1st one.

12 Years...
Ford Orion 1.6 - Complete POS purchased from the dodgiest 2nd hand car dealer in Swindon
VW Polo 1.0 - Complete Wreck - Loaned by the dodgiest 2nd hand car dealer in Swindon when he carried out the necessary rectification work on the Orion when it failed its MOT on 13 points (2 weeks after being sold with full 12 month MOT)...
Ford Sierra Saphire 1.8 - Old, basic and worn out, but... Drove very well and did me well, missed it when I sold it.
Peugeot 309 1.3 - Actually drove very nicely and I don't have a bad word for it..
Ford Mondeo Saloon 1.8 TD- Again a car I enjoyed very much, had some wonderful memories of the car until its untimely demise when the Cam Belt tesioner failed...
Toyota Avensis 1.8 - Company car poorly maintained, uncomfortable and thrashed... Boring Drive too...
Vauxhall Vectra 2.0 DI - It drove comfortably enough, and went reasonable well, but, I personally never took to it, despite having some nice memories of the travels made within... Rolled 1 mile backwards down a road on Anglesey after Green Flag determined they had "sorted" its problem...
BMW 316i - Short term replacement for the Vectra, Loved driving the car, drove beautifully, until the rear suspension went pair shaped, leaving me driving the car sideways for 50 yards after leaving a roundabout onto a dual carraigeway...
Vauxhall Omega 2.5TD - Current car, which is my favourite of all the cars I have had and driven...

Fair share of years and, sadly in some respects, an unfair sample of assorted motoring history from the cheapest of the cheap to the classiest of the most classy, courtesy of my previous employ.
Currently, truth be told, it does not faze me in the least what car I drive. The Gaffer allows me a set of keys and off I toddle. Sometimes its a basic crust earner Defender, sometimes a top of the range Vogue, sometimes a glossy trade in Porche/Jag/Maserati/Mini/dog turd but, who cares? Its wheels, and legal.... ;)

Lorry reversed infront of me - only witless was his mate >:( >:( >:( >:(
Next write off was due to being tired and lost concentration at a difficult junction (naughty children)
Last was oily road on a corner

Try a 328i.(manual of course) 50 yards sideways out of a roundabout is an everage day! ;D
