Title: Site behaviour ...
Post by: Entwood on 02 November 2010, 23:21:50
Noticed tonight that forum pages were very erratic in loading speed... some quick, some very slow indeed... I then noticed that on the "slow" pages the status bar (bottom left of mozilla/firefox) was flicking the statement

"looking up im.shoppingbank.com" /"done" for a long time

these two threads being some of the worst ..

No idea what it is or what it means .... :(

This was brought up the other day, E.

It's Del Boy's avatar, which is hosted on "shoppingbank.com", but it never appears. Someone ought to tell him! ;)

It's an avatar on that page. ::) It's blocking access when linked-to from outside its' domain and causing a loop in the script that does the image loading, at a guess. Not the first time it's been mentioned.

I'll see what I can do.
