More details later. Trying to sort deal now.,
-
Ronnie, you're one hell of a teaser! :)
Can we guess?
Model, date, engine, trans, faults, purchase price, expected profit.
==========================================
Omega, 2000, 2.5, auto, cambelt goosed, £700, £1500.
How many did I get right? ;)
-
Close on two.
OK, decided I cannot do this one at the moment, so here is a chance for one of you. I can get the boot, rear bumper etc locally IN THE SAME COLOUR IIRC today!

Needs very little to make this a superb car.
-
interesting project Ronnie, so what do you think it would be worth fixed with the cat d tag? 25% less than book?
No i`m not buying it! ;)
-
It says ELITE but it doesn't have any leather seats - was that not standard that year, or is something fishy going on?
-
No, leather was an option as was the VERY rare sports pack that laidback had in his facelift eite.
I would say it is worth 40% less as a selling price, but it would be a lovely car to keep. Should be a 51 reg.
-
Not quite true......leather was an option on 2.5/2.6 Elites....standard on 3.0/3.2.......
To much paint work required on this car for my liking....and filling, straightening etc.....not worth the money beng asked by any means....

I`m not disagreeing ;) but i bet Ronnie does... ;D

yes and no. As this is a 2.6, my statement is true. So there! [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif]
What paintwork? Back needs pulling a touch then new boot and bumper, one side repeater and job is a good'un.
Worth every penny in my book and If I sell the other one quick enough I will have that.

The bit below the drivers side repeater that is totaly out of shape and has no paint left on it....
-
Yes, but as the one in the breakers is the exact same colour, I am not worried.
-
The rear quarters are welded on.......so it will still need paint even if you fit one from a breaker....
-
Sorry mate, I'm with Mark on this. That is way too much money at the buy it now.
I would pay £500 tops.
-
rear quarter? Not changing that, just pull out the dent and a quick spray in for about £70.
£500 will not buy that car. 51 reg Elite for £500? Not a hope in heck. More chance of your Mrs driving a Fiat Cicento thingy.
-
aaaaah he's retaining the plate aint he!! smart move!
are they prepared to disclose the reserve price?
-
I will be interested to see what this goes for.
Not a hope of it getting anywhere near the buy it now price.
