A rare Saturday night at home tonight, so no realistic choice but to be in the same room as it.
The scouse girl is in a class od her own. She almost sang the whole song in tune, which is morehtan any og the others can manage.
I would like to see wa**er win. He sums up for me everything that the programme stands for. :)

I have often wondered why I (alone here, it seems) find X Factor such an irritating programme to watch and, tonight, I finally realised what it is.

It is not the acts. After all, many star performers since the 1960s owe their success to similar programmes such as Opportunity Knocks and so on.

It is not the judges. They can be caustic and have an over-inflated opinion of themselves, but that's what showbiz does to people.

It will never be my programme of choice, but the real turn off for me is...

...the endless caterwauling by the largely young female audience. It drives me nuts and sound seems to penetrate the walls and doors of my house. It makes me want to reach for the mute button, but I guess that would somewhat defeat the object.  ;) ;D

I'm just waiting for Sh1te Factor to finish, how many more bloody weeks have we to endure? I'm listening to local radio via t'initerweb to try to drown out the sound of the telly.  :(

When it finishes we will then have nightly episodes of "Im a has been get me out of the hotel garden" which I hate even more than eXtraordinarily out of tune Factor.

They were exposed a couple of months ago in the press for using autotune technology, so they promised to stop using it.
I noticed tonight that not one single contestant sang a song without straying off key somewhere. ::)

I was reminded of that t'other night on the telly!  :( I suppose it's a message from above (or below) to say get off your harris & do something with the 'project' in the garage.  ::)

maybe they could mix an match the two shows?

we could then vote for wan er to be stuck in a box ...full stop.

Im sure you know as well as I do Lizzie that earning a fortune from the music business often has no connection with talent.
Ask Cliff richard if you dont believe me. :D ;D ;D

Anyway - I saw last nights episode, not one of them can sing a song in tune from start to finish. ;).......and even if they could, it only means they are good at karaoke. Dont think we will ever hear any of them recording an album of self penned songs. ;)

Wagner has run his course now. He makes me laugh but the Booooo's said it all really when he went through. Rececca and Matt by far the better artist.

Makes me wonder why any one including the likes of cheryl have to mime, Oh I know because they cant sing! no other excuse.

Rebecca and Matt are showing them how it should be done. :y
