Just been to see Squeeze in concert supported by the Lightning Seeds. Looked like a bunch of old men shuffling onto the stage but boy, have they still "got it". :y
Can certainly recommend it if there's a venue near you. http://www.squeezeofficial.com/

Glad you had a good night out Kevin, where did you go to see them ? Don't appear to be any tickets left or any future gigs at the moment. Although I may not be able to see the site correctly as at work.
I don't mind travelling a bit to see a band, have gone to Southampton, Bournemouth and Portsmouth in the past for concerts.

They were at the Hexagon in Reading.
They are playing the Southampton Guildhall on the 6th. :y That should be a good venue. Shame they won't be playing this though:

Not sure about ticket availability but got to be worth a phone call. :y

Here you go: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squeeze_%28band%29
Squeeze are an English band that came to prominence in the United Kingdom during the New Wave period of the late 1970s
.. a period during which I would have expected you to have your finger very much on the pulse, AA. :-X
