well the alligator went for back up and still bottled it, would of made a nice meal for it as well  ;D ;D

I was told years ago that if I was scared when I went near some dogs they would sence it and possibly respond.  Years later my girlfriend admitted being scared of an alsation that was being walked towards (it had barked at ther in the past)

This particular time she remembered what I had said plus she didnt make eye contact with the dog and all was fine.

I think at times it's a battle of wills as to who/what backs downs,  obviously the cat was having non of it, and probably knew it could move fast enough.

Brilliant,  :y  Think Scruntie has a point with the battle of wills though, (ask Kate :D :D :D) and the smell/sense of fear........ :)

There was a protective element in place..... the cat.... :D :D :D
