After having problems with AOL i went to talk-talk, the thing i find odd is that they own aol :o, so far everything is o,k with it as well as doing one of those phone/broadband deal thingys which has taken a huge chunk from the phone bill. :y

Plenty of options.
For BTWholesale provided products, Zen Internet are undoubtedly the best. But you will pay for it. More modest priced, BT themselves, are a good option.
If you have o2 in the area, they can be good (they run off BeThere's infrastructure) though can also be not so great. £5 discount per month if you have an o2 mobile.
Virgin, generally universally poor, but can work well depending on where you are.
Tiscali LLU can also be good, but like Virgin, massive variations by area.

But also want a £40 setup fee....
I've just chosen plusnet as my new provider for adsl and phone line.

I use Orange, who offer a reasonable deal Netgear 'N' Router, unlimited access, calls and stuff from about £21/month depending on your area...
I have used them for the last 12 months, with some gripes, but, I live in the sticks and they all are about as bad as each other...
Tiscali, I can't comment on, never used them, I used Talk Talk before they came Talk Talk (Onetel) and I have used AOL (who I beleive is supplied under licence through Talk Talk) so may be worth checking and beware of the Talk Talk linked connections...
BT offer some very good deals at the moment, about £41 for Calls and Internet...
