Title: Cashbackkings gone belly up!!
Post by: Lazydocker on 22 November 2010, 21:56:48
May be old news but just looked and Rpoints have gone bust... Unlikely to get any money back from them :'( :'(

Luckily I'm only owed about £6 if you exclude the £16.50 that PC World refused to pay up >:( >:(

Quidco is another popular one, but they take the first £5 you earn every year  :'(

Whichever you use, get you cash out asap - they are all suffering.

They are all reliant of people spending money, so have taken a hit, plus some have been hit by one of the major advertising networks (the middlemen) going tits up last spring (fair play to Topcashback - they paid up, despite having no chance of receiving it from the network). Admittedly, cashbackkings seemed to have suffered worse due to internal squabbling.

The 2 I currently use are Quidco (£5 annual fee) and Topcashback (free). I pick whichever offers the best rate (usually Topcashback), if the same, I pick Topcashback due to a loyalty scheme they run. Not that I'm loyal ;)

So far I've had 0% success with topcashback.co.uk .. used their link to mymemory.co.uk, bought a bunch of stuff and .. nothing.

Maybe they don't support Google Chrome  :-? or the Mac  :-?

Either way it doesn't seem worth all the messing about to make a manual claim somehow.

Worth spending the time to post and complain here, though, clearly  ;D ;D

Switch to a decent browser ;)

Come to that, switch to a decent OS - you know Mr Jobs bans you purchasing anything that he hasn't approved ;)
