had i said peugeot expert or citroen dispatch would that have been better? all come from the same cactory in france its a fiat in name only :y

Thanks for that hoody its the first helpfull post on the thread
this forum is unreal ask for advice on forum and get loads of people telling you how shit the van is without seeing it seems we have a community of people who just want to put the boot in ....
I want to check out how to tie an alarm into the central locking so it remotley locks and unlocks the van thats all

I have a fiat ulysses which is a peugeot 806 in all but badge(pug engine as well) and have owned it for 7 years without any electrical issues at all (touch wood :P).Its actually been a very reliable wagon which my wife drives like she stole it and bar the looks is quite a nice drive :y

That would explain the electrical issues - French + Electricity = Breakdown ;D
Sorry, last time we had a Fiat in the family, it was not possible to hook a ZX81 up to tinterweb...

On many cars, with seperate alarm and locking systems, its normally a case of adding motors etc to 'manually' lock the central locking when alarm is set.
I would have though if the ECUs had the capability, Fiat would have utilised it :-/
