Title: Coach Travel
Post by: Auto Addict on 28 November 2010, 09:48:48
Went to York by coach on Friday, sitting in a coach brings you up to the same level as lorry drivers.

Amazing what you see, one driver was doing a crossword on his steering wheel. :o

Yes AA indeed, and that is why Police Force has introduced a articulated tractor unit for patrols:

Flat caps are actually the height of fashion at the moment. I was in Shoreditch (which is a super trendy place these days) on Monday and I felt naked without one. ::) ;D
I was also carrying a copy of the Daily Mail, and was apparently in danger of sparking an anti fascism protest. :D ;D ;D

Should be banned for life imo. If he looks up and sees another vehicle looming fast, he isnt going to stop 44 tonnes/ 50feet in length on a sixpence. It doesnt bear thinking about. Someone that blase about being in control of something as potentially lethal as that shouldnt be allowed within a mile of it imo. >:(

Exactly what a mate of mine was on the receiving end of. They don't know the damage they can do. He was in a queue a lorry piled into. Nobody got out of the first 3 cars alive. He was in Car no. 1. Left a pregnant widow behind.

my mums brother got banned from driving for life in the 50's. dont know if he ever got his licence back or not as ive never thought about asking mum and i have never met my uncle.

his crime was stealing the military vehicle belonging to the head of the armed forces.

Bought the wife a Rover..  :-[ :-[ Must I now fork out for a flat cap ?  :-/ Ridiculous thing for the lorry driver to be doing, and I'm not going to mention sooooo many people on their mobiles while driving, nor the amount of busy mums driving to work in the morning, putting on their lippy, brushing their hair etc.... " DUCK ".  :-[
