Title: Tiesto question (for laidback66)?
Post by: JamesV6CDX on 12 May 2007, 16:45:55
Dave,

I recall you are into your Tiesto...?

Having heard a few of the tracks / mixes, I can see why  ;D

Are there any any particular tracks / compilations you think I should buy, tiesto or otherwise in the same genre? I have some vouchers to use, as a result of changing a mates corsa cambelt... may as well use them wisely   :)

James, as stated before, the "in Search Of Sunrise" series are highly recommended.

Currently listening to the last one, http://www.amazon.co.uk/Search-Sunrise-Vol-5-Mixed-Tiesto/dp/B000EQIOGC/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/026-8187877-6594811?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1178986767&sr=8-1

Simply brilliant and would be the first one I would buy, followed by 1-4 :)

TIESTO??? bless you!

from what I gather they are a mix of Jim Corr, David Belamy and Hurrican higgins chewing razor blades.

Nahhhhhh. Give me George Formby anyday. :y

I would not expect the "old timers" to like this sort of music to be honest.  ;)

laidback is being very modest. He is indeed 5 years younger than me, but at 6ft 3" He comes in very handy when I drop spanners in akward places. He also knows how to amke a decent cuppa with a choc digestive or 12.

Musically? CRAP. No, I take that back. He does have a Seal album which is OK in my books. But then he did think that some funny eastern bloc country would win the Russiavison song contest last night. I don't know why he thought that! ;D

I take it you're speaking figuratively! Serbia, and the rest of the former Yugoslavia we're never part of the 'eastern bloc' :y
