Title: Has anyone used envirofone?
Post by: Mysteryman on 04 December 2010, 19:27:36
I have just been quoted £59.10 for a Sony Ericson W995 that I don't use any more (Battery life is crap).
However, I hate the idea of posting it off, special delivery, only to be told "It's not worth what we thought......etc  etc."
So, has anyone had any dealings? Ta.

I have one of these phones as my second phone, the battery life is ok, but the handset is nothing compared to my C905

ebay it, you will get double that ammount.  :y

Unless it is seriously damaged, like a cracked screen for example, they don't tend to start arguing about the offer price.  Best to check the terms and conditions for what they say about what they may class as damage, but most of firms are quite realistic about the probable condition of the mobiles they are buying.

I used a different lot - Mazumamobile, and was very impressed with their turnaround.

Never used envirofone, sorry...

It's almost brand new. Got it as an upgrade from 3 but I didn't like it from the word go. I like my old nokia beter, so started using that again. I'll send it off when the envelope arrives and report any probs for future potential users.

is it worth more on ebay?

i've used mazuma, and like theboy i was also very impressed, they actually paid more than ebay's going rate for swmbo's N95, and it was faulty, even though it switched on it had previously had a full cooked breakfast dropped on it including tea and coffee!

mazuma offer an argos voucher option, if you chose it you got 10% more than the cash option, which worked out better because we get staff discount at argos too

more importantly, it took just 2 days to get paid after sending the phone off :y
