‘Homeopathic weapons represent a major threat to world peace,’ said President Barack Obama, ‘they might not cause any actual damage but the placebo effect could be quite devastating.’

I'll have to show my Dad this over chrimbo Nick. He's a retired vet & has written (& had published) a book on homeopathy as you can treat animals & babies who are too young for conventional medicines. "0 years back a neighbour was desperate cos her 3 month old boy had a hideous cold, could'nt sleep, eat anything. I phoned Dad & ground up one tablet that he advised with a teaspoon, too it into mum who dabbed her finger & stuck it in littl'uns gob. He was asleep within 10 minutes.
Placebo effect does'nt work on babies or animals so no power of suggestion. Guy. :y

Guy, I didn't post this to reflect any views on homeopathy, merely because it was, in my opinion, just a brilliantly-funny spoof article. As it happens, I am not against homeopathy as a form of treatment. Those who become so virulently against it normally concentrate (if you'll pardon the pun) on the apparent dilution factors. Clearly, though, to any open-minded person, the use of natural remedies has a great deal to offer (though less money for those who do not benefit from drug companies ;) ).
For example, I have recently read of US university research which points to cinnamon having the ability to regulate blood sugar levels. Mindful of the fact that that I need to keep mine down, I now sprinkle it on my porridge every morning. The bonus is that fact that I like the taste of it! :y

Yes, that has been known for some time Nick.
I know several people who have blood glucose issues so have a keen interest in how they use some food groups help to regulate this.

Sadly, not by me though, Zulu!
