Don't ask me. ::) Mrs. KW insists on drinking it, not because she cares whether it's diet or not, but because she prefers it to the proper stuff. To me it just tastes like water polluted with various nasty chemicals. ::)

ALL coke is vile!! I know I must be in the minority due to the amount of the stuff they sell, but I can't stand the stuff.
We've drunk diet versions of all pop for years from when the kids were little due to the amount of sugar in 'normal' pop, and now ordinary pop is just far too sweet & sugary for me these days.
Isn't it something stupid like a can of normal pop contain around 10 teaspoons of sugar?

Fair comment. Wouldn't be my first choice of drink - this would, currently: Beer with a slight Hotel21 twist to it.

Full Fat coke works well in Vodka. Stops me getting mullered too early in the evening... (which I would on neat doubles ::))

Coke = makes good paint remover as well.

Thats why I always feel bad on the morning after. I always blamed it on the nasty doner kebab. Obviously, nothing to do with the Stella or shorts ::)

I went on a training course to metalbox and met a guy that worked for cadbury schweps making the the coke/cans.
He was told me they had one seamer working 24/7 but cant remember if they aimed for a 1m cans a day. (695 a min if you do the sums)
They shut down for a full rebuild once a year and comply strip a repaint the machine.
With in a month the coke spillage has stripped all the paint off the lower part off the machine. :-X

You should see what tomato sauce does to a seamer, it's not just the paint it strips away. Parts are literally eaten away.
Just 700 cans per mins? :-/ I'd have thought they'd be quicker than that when doing (mainly) ally cans. Our bigger filler/seamers (Angelus) are doing up to 1000 cans per min.
We have quite a few lads at work who served their time or spent a good few years working for Metal Box. Sadly the only sign of where the factory used be is a road sign! :( http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&q=Metal+Box+Way,+Westhoughton,+Bolton+BL5+3,+United+Kingdom&sll=53.800651,-4.064941&sspn=21.139889,56.99707&ie=UTF8&oi=geospell&cd=1&geocode=FdY2MQMdYKHZ_w&split=0&hq=&hnear=Metal+Box+Way,+Westhoughton,+Bolton+BL5+3,+United+Kingdom&ll=53.555568,-2.512522&spn=0,0.027831&t=h&z=16&layer=c&cbll=53.55642,-2.515268&panoid=6yq7WhjtzldSdDfOz4pGEw&cbp=12,5.75,,1,12.67

Perrywood walk that rings a bell.
One of the bosses there used to own a porche 911 from what some of the lads were telling us and he was allways getting beaton from the lights by one of the workers on a CBX honda 6pot.
So it seems this director bought a ferrari and got the edge on the bike, not by a lot it seems, but at least got in front.
So the biker fitted a 6 into 1 turbo kit and exhuast on it. When he gave it the beans it occasionly pulled a wheelie, then started to spinthe back wheel and drop the front back down whilst poping flames out of the exhaust, but when it did get traction it just anhilated the ferrari.
Must have been an awsome bike though.
Did see it once leaving the gates which is what sparked the conversation on the canteen. Awsome bike. :y
