cant believe how mild it was yesterday, the sudden change overnight after a bit of rain. the pub has been totally empty the whole weekend.the rds have been quiet. just shows what a little snow and the cold weather does, people just lock themselves away. all ive heard all weekend is "its too cold to do anything"

Only a lazy useless student would think like that :P

Not that we've had any snow this way, it wouldn't stop me going in - good excuse for 'fun' on the way in ;)

That said, its dead easy for me to work at home anyway...

Dropping the kids off at school this morning in -5 temperatures, there's a fat bloke who wears just a T-shirt on top and 3-quarter length trousers, then drives away with all his windows open  :o

Must be a blubber thing  :)

I read that as "Dropping the kids off at the pool" first time round! BRRR! That would be cold. Thank God for abolishing outside toilets. ::)

Our 'local' news is presented by some right thickos, and they daren't send their webbed feet correspondants more than 4 miles inland from the sea.

Now look at any map.  I live on the Northamptonshire/Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire border.  The only news I receive from the BBC is what happens on the coast, in the Solent, or that poxy little island below the Solent.
