I tend to wave to Miggy owners when I see them on the road, without really expecting a return wave; but many do! :y
Having recently also begun regularly driving a Land Rover Disco., this is now leading to 'brain-fade': embarrassingly waving to Miggys when in the Disco and vice-versa......bemusement often results. ::)
For some odd reason Disco drivers seem VERY keen on returning the wave (often adding a lamp-flash too).....maybe they`re simply relieved to see that they`re not the only repair-victim on the road! ;D
Do you wave at other Miggys? :-?

I wave at other Elite's/MV6's. I turn my nose up at anything less and I simply laugh in the face of GLS owners! :P

Every single one I see :y

When out on my bike I, like most bikers nod to other bikers, and they ( apart from BMW riders) almost always return the nod.
Sometimes when I am driving the Mig and see a bike coming the other way I catch myself nodding at them. :-[ :-[ ::) ;D ;D

No, but recently I wound down the window to say .... 'nice car' to another Omega owner as he was sorting stuff in his boot. I think it just went over his head. :-? :-? ;D ;D ;D

Only pathetic sports bke riders. try riding a trail bike, even though you know you have been riding for many many more years than they have. sport bker rders can't be bothered to even acknowledge my existance.
I will no longer stop to assist the modern bike rders anymore. They are a pathetic bunch at best.
Oh yes I wave to every Omega I see, and never had a wave back yet.
Years back people waved to me in my Spitfire my TR7 and when I borrowed mums MGB.
Father used to get waves in hs Jag S type (the original 1968 ish)

Yes I do Debs but don't get many returns :-/
I think that may be due to the fact i'm a grey haired old git & you're gorgeous though! ;D ;D ;)

I drive a silver 2.2 BM, does this mean a Date is out of the question then? ;D ;)

How about the Ides of March? >:(
I'm quite surprised I've even taken the time to reply to you, peasant! :P
Before anyone jumps down my throat for being 'elitest' (see what I did there?) I am only joking! ;D

:P A real Elitist would engage a flunky to wave for them! ;D

The only flunky I have at the moment is currently busy breathing on the Rear Blind mechanism to keep it warm. I will get said flunky to explain what a Rear Blind is when Summer arrives and his aforementioned duties cease to warrant his warmth. :insert toff-emoticon here:

I'd be more than happy Debs if a lovely blond waved at me no matter what car she was in :-* ;D

Don't really get nods or waves but the Beastie does attract a 2nd glance from some Mig drivers even when i'm not on the loud pedal! Not a sport bike fan myself but that's only a matter of taste. Last bike was a Bandit with renthalls etc. Streetfighter scene is more my thing but sportbikes did nod sometimes & would yarn over a coffee. A bike's a bike in my eyes even though i don't like 'em all. When i had Ronnie, my S3 Landy all other Landies & a few discos waved/flashed.
If you really want to indulge in automotive camaraderie buy yourself a classic of some sort. When out in the 'Tina or any of my previous jalopies everything from V Dub campers to kit cars (KW). Modern cars tend to follow you for a while before overtaking & toot as they pass. pedestrians, road workers, etc. point & nudge thier mates & allow extra time for supermarket car parks etc. Everyone used to have one....how old is? What's it worth?
Pre 73 tax is free & insurance is pennies!!! 8-)

Nope... people would think im mad or just flip me off rather than wave/nod/flash the lights back... there are a number around my area but dont think they are on here
I do however acknowledge other Modders, normally done in the fashion of showing whats different about your car... some drive past on the limiter to hear the lovely note of the exhaust system or pop a few flames, some do just flash the lights or wave.... i tend to blast the Dixie's and strobe my green and whites (strictly used for show purpose only ::) )

I have only ever seen two that I was able to wave at... a bit thin on the ground down here. There was the mystery black Elite that appeared locally in the summer, but it's vanished now.

Not any more......About three months ago I was driving in darkest Wales..(Somewhere near Bala...I think ;)).....When an arthritic Omega estate driven by a tall blonde lady with three excitable dogs in the back pulled up next to me......I gave the attractive blonde lady a cheery wave.......expecting one in return.....Only to be greeted by a two finger salute..... Needless to say I've now stopped being so polite to other Omega owners..... :y :-* :-* :P :P :P

;) The pup-mobile isn`t yet arthritic; just a bit stiff on cold mornings! :)
