Its not turned a wheel since a week past friday.  Cant be arsed clearing all the snow behind it, only to be potentially beaten by the uphill stretch away from the house.

Been using her FWD diesel shitbox Ford Fusion which, truth be told, has done the deed exceptionally well.   ;D

Coming down to earth for once, I measured 13" on my garden table. Deep enough for me thank you. :o

I got a text about this but dismissed it as a load of shite
Is that for real? driving with snow on the roof of your car  = 3 points and £60 fine

According to the Highway Code:

Before you set off

you MUST be able to see, so clear all snow and ice from all your windows
you MUST ensure that lights are clean and number plates are clearly visible and legible
make sure the mirrors are clear and the windows are demisted thoroughly

remove all snow that might fall off into the path of other road users

check your planned route is clear of delays and that no further snowfalls or severe weather are predicted

[Laws CUR reg 30, RVLR reg 23, VERA sect 43 & RV(DRM)R reg 11]
