You should have worn your spidey face cover and all would have been well with the world  :y

I cant wait to get the place finished, just the kitchen and dining room and thats the whole house refubished all done by me and still standing ::). My best achievements are the parquet flooring which was reclaimed, cleaned, and laid by my own fair hands and the bathroom :).

Well done. It'll probably be nicely cleaned up by the time you get back from Slough!

That reminds me. En-suite floor is still largely marine ply following my fitting of a new shower 18 months ago.

<whisper> SWMBO seems to have forgotten </whisper>

A word of advice Pete from personal experience doing up your house is like painting the Forth bridge as soon as think you've finished it's time to start again ::)

Tell me about it.....the bathroom was the last room in our house to be decorated/re-furbished since we moved in 5 years ago.......and that includes an extension and 72m2 of clay (not block) paving on the drive as well!

Now SWMBO is talking about re-doing the lounge (for the third time)....at least I might get a nice new LCD tele though....

Then next year its a 6m x 4m rear sun room, once I have finished my brick laying course.  :y
