And to me too jaime :y

It's an odd one actually. Seems to load part of the page quickly and then takes an age to complete. For example, in posting this reply, the page loaded down to the "Subject" field really quickly and then it took another 20 seconds for anything else to appear.
Could it be the formatting icons that are loading slowly perhaps?

The images all come from the images server - is it them that are sluggish to load?
*Everything* for me seems faster than normal (which is worrying).
/TB trundles off to check MTRG on the routers...
-
Something happened between 10 and 2 today, but other than that, looks about normal for this time of day...
...off to see if server showing anything obvious
-
Server looks fine - its pretty much sat twiddling its thumbs...
-
think the image server is playin up tho, some smileys not working, and occasionally the background and 2 miggy's dont appear for me.
some posts will half load then halt for approx 10 secs then finish loading.

Images server OK for me - not mega fast, but not slow either...

Must be a Banana in the injector pump, or perhaps someones stuck a potato up the forums exhaust pipe.
seems fast enough to me.

FastFred - is that a typo in your profile for your car (3.6), or have you slapped in an LC engine? If the latter, I'm your new best friend ;D ;D ;D

Well, the way to speed the forum up is to run wireshark in the background. Been trying to log the problem but it's not having it. >:(

The firewall is busy - somebody has worked out we run Exim, and everybody wants a piece of that at the moment. But its not busy enough to delay packets drastically.
(we're safe - we don't allow incoming mail to that Exim server)

You haven't been winding wikileaks up have you TB?

Yep. Got a log in the end. A few packets lost, a pregnant pause, a few retransmissions, a long pause, then back to normal.
