It seems that something always goes wrong that's going to cost money just before Christmas. This year it's the car - caught the passenger side door mirror at the weekend resulting in smashed mirror glass and broken plastic (basically the whole thing needs replacing), now the aux belt tensioners are buggered and have got to be replaced. Sod's law!! :(

it comes in 3,s remember though bob. ;)

Aux belt tensioner pulley is on about 25 quid and SO easy to fit

I don't doubt it with some decent tools - I might struggle a bit with a pair of pliers, adjustable spanner and a hammer! ::) ;D

15mm spanner is all that is required.
Could possibly do it with an adjustable

You'll get a replacement mirror from Halfrauds for about £10. Just remove any loose fragments of glass and stick the replacement on top of whats left.
Fix mine this way almost two years ago and it still A1. Quite surprised that the heated facility works too. I didn't think it would with the stick on mirror, although it does take much longer than the o/e mirror.
