Its slowing down now so I will expect my skyblue sky back very soon then ::) :)

Just had a hail storm here but no snow but my dad who livea near Heathrow says it's snowing really hard there.
-
Still blue skies here in Farnborough :y
-
Just a tiny bit of a dusting here. We never have any fun. Although negotiating an icy down ramp in the multi-storey car park this morning had one or two interesting moments. ;D
There was a warning of heavy snow here for today, but that appears to have been revised now, so I'm guessing someone else is going to get it instead.

Thats not good, I may have to go pick up the wife when she gets back this evening then. Being from a tropical country she's useless at driving in the snow :-/
Plus we hope to fly out on Sunday :o

Did the same here in Chertsey - snowed like mad for 20 minutes (though it was that 'almost hail' snow that comes down like little polystyrene balls) and then clear blue skies..
Another flurry just now of proper snowflakes, but it's still a light dusting rather than anything else. Yet.

Are you flying via anywhere? Short haul flights to Frankfurt are ~90% cancelled at the moment, so I'd expect the same of any flights via there..
-
Its been messing about here most of the morning...about 11.00am it starting snowing heavy but only for a few minutes..it has given a fair covering although not much depth and is now sunny aswell.
Mad weather.

Straight from Heathrow to the West coast of USA, then a short hop across the Pacific to Oahu 8-)
Fingers crossed we make it out though as we fly standby, so one cancelled flight and I can be stuck for days :(
Mind you I wont be upset to get stuck on the way back ;D

Ahh good choice of route ;) I came back from Seattle on Sunday and it took 24 hours - our original flight was via Chicago until Chicago got snowed out, rerouted via Toronto until the plane broke down and we all had to get off.. ended up coming back via Vancouver with a 6hr stop there before a direct flight back to Heathrow.. (Naturally our luggage went walkabout somewhere in there ::) )
Anyhoo.. enjoy Oahu you lucky :-X ;D

you werent flying United were you?
Yep! United originally (via Chicago), re-routed to Air Canada via Toronto and then Horizon to Vancouver on a little turbo-prop and Air Canada to London..
-
We've got it again.
-
;) You`ll need the "slough-ploughs" ;D
Lets hope the slough-ploughs aren`t on a snow-plough go-slow in slough! :D

well, earlier on i was about to post saying we still hadnt had any snow apart from the 15 minute minor throw-down at bolton yesterday that didnt stick, looked out of the window and it had snowed! although not too bad, not even a centimetre
been warned that we might get hit bad overnight, so i've covered the car and gritted the driveway cos i'm out at 5am!!
-
Well, not too bad in the end, freezing temp caused more aggro. -2.5 c when I left at 4pm, took ages to de ice the car, covered in rain drops, frozen wipers with some snow on top. No problem here in Reading, but just up the road in winnersh the ground is/was covered in hail stones.
