Title: Omega unlocked
Post by: Nickbat on 17 December 2010, 22:15:44
My Omega is unlocked and parked on the street. :o

No chance of it being stolen though. ;)

All the doors are completely frozen, following yesterday afternoon's rain, then snow, then frost, then today's snow and a current temperature of -6c.

I tried opening the drivers door, but it would not move more than 1micron. Unfortunately, though, that seems to have been enough to make the car refuse to lock itself again. I've tried pushing the door back, but to no avail. Tried de-icer to open it, but no luck. Looks like I'll have to wait until tomorrow and get a hairdrier on it.  :(

had the same earlier  jug of lukewarm water around the edge of the door and on the handle did the trick :y

Use the door lock? Lighter on the key, then put it in the lock always works a treat, of warm water around the edge of the door as said  ;)

You have a point.

Doctor Who: "What we have here, Amy is a CD. Now, if we are to save the world by taking on the Daleks we need a CDX, so we can surprise them by firing lasers from the upper aperture, also known as a sunroof, but only fitted to the CDX."

Amy: "OK. If you say so, Doctor. But, can I stick my long legs through the sunroof?"

Doctor Who: "Oh, rather. Ding dong!"

I'd rather have the extra headroom.

Sunroofs:
1) Go rusty
2) Leak
3) Go nuts and open themselves when you least expect it.

If you want the wind in your hair do it properly and do away with the roof completely. ;)
