Title: Cheap or what?
Post by: geoffr70 on 20 December 2010, 19:09:16
I've just bagged myself a brand new oil cooler and plate for £60 delivered, and both downpipes with cats and two lambda sensors for £100 delivered (nearly new, 2-3 months old, still shiny, but not GM). Cheap or what!

I also got a thermostat and housing for £25 ish.

You can't win them all though. I've just been to the dealers to get breather bridge seals, sealant, coolant bridge seals, coolant transfer pipe seals, disk securing bolts and a few other bits and bobs and because of the quantities they come in and the fact that I couldn't use my trade card (so he said) all that lot came to £53!! :o

Still, the Elite's getting a good Christmas treat!

Most of our council grit bins have mysteriously disappeared The council claims that they have been pinched But the word is that the coucil removed them in the autumn as part of a cost cutting exercise >:(

I would do that, and grit the roads and paths, but our council have fenced off the cities reserves so you have to pay for it now! Surely as a council tax payer (two lots thanks very much) it belongs to me and other council tax payers!

Although I know people nick it and sell it. I would put it on the road and path though.

Still, £20 for 125kg isn't bad, some places are trying to sell it for £26 for 20kg!!! Are they having a laugh?
