has any one noticed the insurance premiums have gone up way up, had 25 quotes and one was £590. and not to go into all of them but last quote £1500, now this year as 1st of 1st, cost me £345. and now my renewal is £560, has any one else had this yet :question
-
Mine's gone up around £150.00 this year with my present insurer >:(
Needless to say i'll be hunting around for the cheapest ;)
-
Mine is about same as last year - £650ish for all 3 cars
-
my 'group policy' went up by about £35 to c£750 for all three cars for SWMBO & me to drive. Good I thought. :y
-
Also a bad time of year to renew, possibly worth getting insured for 6 months and then renew again, extra cost now might get ofset with cheaper in 6 months. Worked in my favour a few years ago.

Up £11 over four vehicles for us, (all mods declared).
My broker was most apologetic, although truth be told, no-one else could get anywhere close. (£730 ish)
-
saved about £15 on last year, with mods declared
chances are, they'll hike again next year, after this winter's inevitable claim increase

Once you've got your quote that you like and before you purchase it, just check out www.quidco.co.uk. They give you cash back for going through them to the site you was on.
My wife had a Volvo 940 2.3. Cost £191 for the year, went to Quidco and got £100 cash back. Not bad insuring a car for £91 per annum. There are people on money saving expert forums who actually get such great deals they have the insurance companies pay them. For minimum effort its well worth looking into!!!
-
just try the last one, not to bad but one with is still cheaper, had look and insurance quota and say somthing about age of car and emmision and engine size can make you pay more for your insurance,, has that just come in or somthing???
-
were on about £350 each with admiral multicar
-
