Here we go. That chestnut is older than the seas. I think it's very myopic to be a one brand car fan. I'm not a Vx fan, they've made some proper sh sh sh.... I just like Omegas. I love old Fords, love 'em or hate 'em the Cortinas outsold everything & many still run without problems today.
During the cold spell the Omega got stuck in the kerb or goung off the drive, the doors froze shut & the power steering packed up. I gave up, put her in the garage & used the 1966 Cortina for a few days.
No secret that i love my MV6 but my Cortina is tough as old boots & does'nt make a fuss when it gets a bit chilly. Guy.

Not sure why, but Brian Mays guitar playing has always left me cold. Never been a fan of him or Queen. :-/
Noticed the late, great Cozy Powell on the drums there. :y

Agreed. Every manufacturer going has made some total lemons, and the odd good car too.

Hmm. Can't agree there, though, I'm afraid. ;)

I'm not into bleeding heart lead screaming guitar no matter how well it's played, Gary Moore, Joe Satriani & the like. Undoubtedly talented but it leaves me cold. I'm more of a rhythm giutar fan ala Stones, ZZ top more the dirty old biker party in a field guitar. Sorry Debs Byyan Adams is too commercial for me & everthing i do got played so much it became sickening as bohemian rhapsody, brilliant but i never want to hear it again, i've heard it so many times.
However to redress the balance there is a Queen track i love & the guitar is much more to my taste:-

I`m with you and the Brian Adams` thing, Guy....."done to death"......well and truly. :y
I do like a bit of Joe Satriani at times....but, I lost my musical-heart to Pat Metheny back in `81....and his guitar-odyssey has formed my life`s soundtrack. ;)

A cross between Santana & Jazz...(nice) to my uncultured palette. Incredible fretwork, puts my few chords & riffs to shame. Whilst still too pretty & perfect for me i have to admit i kinda like it & will look further. Guy. :y :-*

A good intro. to Pat`s immense and varied body of work, would be a listen to Pat Metheny Radio:
