Mick Karn, formally of the 80s group JAPAN passed away from cancer at the tender age of 52.
He was instrumental in forming the "80s sound" that the DJ's on Radio 1 all refer to nowadays, and was a classically trained musician from cyprus.
RIP mate, all the good die young, the "supergroup" up in heaven is just getting better and better.....................................

Read in the news today that Chuck Berry is really poor too, one foot in the grave, and the other on a bar of soap...............
2011 really seems to be starting off as the year for music personality deaths I'm sorry to say.
