Post by: zirk on 08 January 2011, 19:00:08
Going up to Elite Pete land from London and Back tomorrow (Sun), will fill up before I go, just want to know of any good little LPG stations not too far of the M6 say between Brum to Knutsford or on the way back, Hate paying Motorway prices.

Cheers Chris  :y

Junction 14 Milton Keynes, come off the M'way - http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&q=m1+junction+14&ie=UTF8&ll=52.048611,-0.706944&spn=0.004645,0.013797&t=h&z=16
I paid 69.9p/litre here earlier this week.  Lowest price in the area.

I did a Petrolprices.com earlier for the area up north, was coming back arround 84p, dont know why but there still around 70.9p NE london at the moment and thats normally arround 8p dearer than up north.

Still will be using the LPG 1.4 Tigra Tardis tomorrow, £22 normally gets me arround 280 miles on a run.

If it's any help, apparently Morrisons were selling LPG at this site:
Morrisons Small Heath
Coventry Road
Birmingham
West Midlands
B10 0XA

for 67.9 per litre.
It's on the A45 towards Birmingham from J6 on the M42.
Price correct on 05/01/11 courtesy of www.petrolprices.com

Trust me Pete, there like a little Tardis with the back seats (if you can call them that, more like a thin plastic bench) folded down, Ive had a complete set of recaro interior and door cards in the back without folding the passenger seat forward and still had room to see out the back window. you wouldn't get that lot in a mig saloon.
 :D :D :D

Chris.

Edit, Front and rear doors and wing.  ;)

Those running LPG, and in the right part of the country migt want to consider a "countrywide lpg" account

http://www.countrywidefarmers.co.uk/pws/Content.ice?page=EnergyAutogas&pgForward=businesscontentbasic

Presently 73.92p/ltr after the latest round of rises inc 20% VAT.... damned site better than the 82 p the robbers at shell want.. :(

How I wish we had a Morrisons or Asda selling LPG in Swindon .. I filled up in Cardiff yesterday (ASDA) at 66.9 p/ltr ...

:)

I would say the front door of an Omega is taller than a Tigra is wide and way to long to fit in the other way buts lets hope not as I presume your on your way ::)

Hmmm..., this is twice in the last 3 days that Ive been asked for photographic evidence against my posts  ;D

First Welung666 saying 'this thread is useless without pictures' on my in-genius home made wiper stalk saucepan puller and now you defying that you cant get 4 tons of omega parts in the back of an Tigra  :D.

No point in saying Im going to be doing a comms job in Michael Essien house over the next few days (who's he, cough.. Chelski),

Ok, I;ll take some pics.
