Title: Digi card query.

I know i've got the work thread going at the moment but this is a specific question.
   I've recieved & filled out the forms, written the cheque but at the end it asks me to nominate a Vosa testing station to have my card sent too & they'll notify me by post when it's ready to collect. I can do this as we have one nearby but have been told i don't have to & it will be sent to my home address as i'm UK born & already hold a class one. I know some of you hold digi cards so could you elaborate please? Guy. :-/

I had mine sent to the house..Does it not give you that option.?

sending to a VOSA station was an option for making sure it was
A the correct owner by you collecting it and having to show your driving licence as proof it was you the holder,
B there were some problems where new cards would not work,
so they were loaded onto machine at Vosa to check they did in fact communicate with the digitach,
C Vosa station can show you how it works and what to do if it dont!
If it arrives and you just keep it on your wallet till you need it, how do you know it wll work when you do your first day?
cos without it working you aint going nowhere!
So its up to you, have you got a truck at work with the digitach to log onto? if yes have it sent to you house its far easier!!

Cheers folks. So i just send the form with cheque & passport photo. Leave the Vosa section unfilled & it comes to my home address. That's what i was hoping for. Guy. :y

If it is your first card it is to confirm your i.d some vosa sites will also guide you through using the card
