Title: 22mpg - We got it, they havent
Post by: Banjax on 16 January 2011, 19:58:08
I'm watching the Seahawks/Bears playoff game and you get all the American ads if you find a way to watch it free (sorry Rupert) anyway the adverts are all for enormous pick-ups and fast food - there was a ludicrous thing pulling a ship a minute ago, anyway the Ford F-150 ad actually makes a virtue of its 22mpg! like its amazingly frugal! imagine the yanks paid £6 a gallon  ;D

Those ads always make me chuckle when I'm over there..

"It gets an amazing thirty-five miles to the gallon*"
(tiny small print)
"*EPA Highway figures only"

Just recheched the figures, the  3.5L V6 EcoBoost™*****  looks the best.

The 6.2 used to be supercharged you might remeber it being the same GT40 engine as mentioned by JC on TGear
