Yes it's sad news indeed - I always thought she was at her most beautiful in that RAF uniform when playing Maggie Harvey in the Battle of Britain :-* :-*

As you rightly say Lizzie, another 60's icon gone.

Heard about this today. Sad loss indeed. Silly thing is i can't name a thing she was in but remember growing up seeing her on telly.
Naturally pretty. Did'nt have to try. While we're at it lads i prefer rug to laminate, i like it as nature intended. How can you improve on perfection?

Never thought i'd use flooring as a comparison, first time for everything i suppose!!!  L9 MUF!! :P :-*

If my life could be compared to a galvanised bucket with a rusty hole in the bottom, & every life that has ever touched mine and passed away has dripped through that hole, then Susannah York is the latest among a quickening flood to have departed well before their time  :'(
Cancer is such a filthy, indiscrimate disease, and almost always seems to take away the best amongst us!  >:(
