...will become International Consolidated Airlines Group (IAG) from Monday. There goes more of the family silver.

Old news .. this was announced way back in November !! and will only apply on Stock Exchanges .. BA Trading name remains .. :)

The main thing that most folks missed is BA will no longer be a UK Registered company ... but will become Spanish registered .. :(

I don't think I said they wouldn't be trading as BA. I think I was leaning towards the fact that they will no longer be a registered British company. Hence the 'family silver' quip. :-?

I wonder if that will exempt them from U.K. laws and/or previous union agreements ? :-/

If they trade in Britain, they will be subject to British law. Union agreements? Who knows, who cares?
