disappointing to say the least.

its a shame they refurbished it as cable driven version, but i guess it was too costly to run :-/

mmm, tis dissapointing to say the least.
I always thought maglev had a great future........... :'(
I recently travelled on the new link from BM airport to the railway station. Top Marks.

Why dont they just take the £2,500? it dosent look like it would make anything near that on the weighbridge, which is where they state its going otherwise ::)

i would have thought there was a bidder below the 25k who would have been willing to cough up seeing that half the proceeds were for charity.
the end of the day... it aint worth a light.

Read it again ;) All of it is going to charity... Half to HFH and half to Acorn :y

lets face it its a piece of junk, the airport also knows it hence the poor picture of just one side ,no interior shots etc so no effort has been made by them at all. also its going to cost a few thousand to move with cranes and transport etc.
as for the idea of a garden feature what a load of tosh.
its a eyesore and they just want rid without any hassel, but fair play to them to donating to charity.
