Title: Pre-facelift versus Facelift dipped headlights
Post by: Omega_on_fire on 23 January 2011, 17:05:08
My '97 Elite had pretty rubbish halogen headlights.  In fact, dipped or full beam they weren't great.

Do the facelifted ones have better halogen lights?

Sounds like you need the projector type headlights.

What sort are...were they?  I had the beams adjusted, put 90% lights in there, but they were never as good as (sorry, blasphemy  :-[) my Rover 800 nor  my previous Ford Granada Scorpio, nor Rover SD1.  All big cars, expected the Omega to be as good or better, but never was  :(.

My dipped HIDs in the facelift put out plenty of light, certainly the best out of all my former cars.  Even when the ballast pack on one of them broke!
