bearing in mind i know nothing about mechanics, pure interest id like to know if the things that need doing wud be easy to fix??????
:y :y :y :y

Not major work TBH, although if you have little mechanical experience the brakes may be better tackled by someone more expert ;)
This may well belong to someone on here... Sure I read a question somewhere about the in tank pump :-/ :-/ May, of course, just be a coincidence :y :y

Worth a punt. If (and it`s a big if) fuel pump is playing up (£20 S/H) it wouldn`t lack power. Could be one of many things, not necessarily expensive. If it`s close enough to you why not have a looksee and try the pedal trick for codes.
-
hmmmm very roughly speaking how much wud it cost (if those were the only faults) to buy it, take it to a garage and have the work done? 8-) 8-) 8-)

Very true... More likely that the fuel filter hasn't been changed ::)

Front discs & pads about £100 trade, easy DIY job. Rears, probably pads only, about £12. Fuel pump, if needed, I got one here secondhand £20. 15 minute job under the boot carpet

no mention of history and looking at the mileage its due a big spend..
also the tax on the later 2001 models is an eye watering amount.
if your paying someone...could well add up.

No it's not. Can't remember the details but you're confusing mega road tax with Mar 2006 onwards. :y
-
That looks a tidy car, for that money got to be worth a look.... :y I recently bought, on paper and presentation, a first class car, in August, have spent £1100 on it since and only a 2.2...... :'( :'( :'(
If viewing was OK I would buy it if near to me.... :y

Even allowing for a cam belt plus the rest, lets say £1k tops, if the condition is right a lot of car for the money, and tip top I would buy that car for £1600

I spent months looking for the right Mig, thought I had bought one, only to have my hands burned, then, since to find several others that were better for sale, a good example would be Danny and his car for sale, and there was another on here, can not remember who.... ::) ::)
-
For £600 that looks a good but to me, with a good days work outside my garage to put it all right.
If it was closer to the SE I could be interested :y :y

Del Boy was talking about going to look at a [petrol] Omega that 'lacked power due to a clogged fuel pump'..
(Which seems highly unlikely to me)
