Title: new LG phone great.... but don't get this?

it will add my hotmail account so i can check e mails but when i try to add my bt account (my main one) it bloody well wont connect.

any ideas?

errr needle in a hay stack springs to mind! Bit more information needed....

Using browser for both?
or using a bespoke mail app?
connecting via IMAP, POP3, SMTP, HTTP?

as far as i know may be so so wrong,
some email accounts will not let you conect unless you are using there modem or dongle,
had this with virgin media cant conect unless i use home comp or via a web browser on my phone

how annoying!

as i said its no probs with my hotmail acct. just dont like my bt one.

ooooh hang on just noticed...

when connecting to hotmail it uses pop3. when i try the bt account it says ''connecting to mail.btclick.com''

?????

your bt mail probably needs an IMAP connection .. check the BT web site

mmm BT is not IMAP but POP3

settings you need are here ..
