Personally as I like a bit of modern architecture (although I'm more partial to 'brutalist' architecture), I think it'll look great sat in that bit of skyline :)

How tall BJ?......nothing like as tall as the Burj Dubai/ Burj Khalifa...I'll wager.... :y

A masterpiece indeed! :y :y :y :y
It is wonderful to see these buildings, which are not the regular shapes of concrete of the 1960s and 70s, rising as the future icons of the London skyline. The masterpieces of Wren have became icons, and now these new constructions are honouring that tradition, maintaining the greatness of London, and ensuring they will be treasured for years to come. 8-) 8-)
Londinium still rules! ;) ;)

Just over 1000ft, was supposed to be about 1500ft but the CAA put the mockers on that one.
Saw it again the other day looks nearly finished.

That's one thing I do miss about cities (living out in the suburbs of .. Bracknell ;D ;D) - the architecture and all that steel & glass.
I'd make the trip into London to marvel at it all .. but it's too damned cold to go sightseeing :D I'll have to go somewhere warmer with lots of steel & glass (but not as 'warm' as Dubai, thanks!)

And Varche - I've seen that video of El Chorro before.. you couldn't pay me enough to walk along there! A bit like the Mt Huashan trail in China (http://www.ssqq.com/archive/vinlin27d.htm) .. don't look at those pictures if you suffer from vertigo!
