Title: Any Excel experts ?
Post by: HolyCount on 01 February 2011, 21:04:29
I am running an excel spreadsheet and up to now pressing alt and a series of numbers has given me vaious symbos (mainly french accents) whch I need for translations.

Suddenly pressing these key combinations is just giving me a letter and three numbers and moves me to a different cell.

What have I altered and how can I put it right ???

Have you changed the font?

These codes are ASCII codes which correspond to each character of alphabets.  Some fonts dont include characters other than the standard ABC etc.
