Myself & Swmbo both saw a Large Black Panther beside a hedgerow in a field sloping down to the road just outside Two Bridges on Dartmoor. We were touring the area in 1998 & reported the sighting immediately as it was so close to Habitation. Before anyone asks, we were both stone cold sober & it was DEFINATELY a Panther! The Police took our details but gave the impression they thought we had stayed too long at Buckfast Abbey earlier in the day! ::) ;D

Yep... There was a
guy nutter in the local area many, many years back who went bankrupt and released all of his wild animal collection into the wild so I believe in them.
Plus, SWMBO and I have seen a couple :y :y

I remember my last eye test. Examiner asked if I could read the third line on the letter board.
"Yes no problem", I said. "Where is it then?".... ;D ;D ;D

i counted 8 parrots over the park here last yr, and around weybridge there is loads of tropical birds everywhere, they were all let out after the filming of the birds in the 60's adapted to our climate

I was driving from Chobham over to Lyne not so long ago when a wallaby hopped across the road in front of the car.
I knew it was a wallaby as the local constabulary had been looking for it for a long time following various reports - had escaped from some circus or other.

I am sure there are big cats in the wild across the UK as since the 1960s I can remember reports of so many sightings as to make it certain they exist.
In fact I rather love the thought that they are all out their somewhere as part of countrylife. Africe in the UK wild; how wonderful! 8-) 8-) 8-) :y :y
