A bit tricky comparing a comment about a small sub-faction in a small demo in the UK (Sorry. London) with such a large expression of discontent in Cairo (Sorry. Egypt). :(
-
I don't see the hypocrisy there.
UK is a democracy, Egypt is not.
Demonstrators in Egypt want a voice. Demonstrators in UK have a voice.
Wasn't the Labour party affiliated to the ruling party in Egypt? Now, I can see some hypocrisy in that. ;)

I agree Webby :y :y :y
In London the protesters demonstrate using their freedom in a democracy, but should also respect the social contract that exists within a liberal democracy that should restrict the harm they do to others.
Those protesting in Cairo have no freedom that we would recognise, and certainly no social contract or a responsibility not to harm others, apart from the usual moral one.
Both very different! ;) ;)
