in 2009 comprehensive insurance cost me £167., 2010 £206 this coming year (due end of feb} £356. these prices included all the extras. so iv,e shopped around & online managed a £197 quote, increasing to £226 with legal packet. so i let my existing broker know to see and ask about the increase. is reply is because i only want to pay a minimum excess £100max & the insurer wants a £250 excess they v,e added £150 to the premium. so in the event of a claim i only pay the minimum. :-/ ::)
