Title: new cars
Post by: skyblue on 10 February 2011, 15:43:41
No I havent come into money  so please dont send us begging letters as you will be disappointed ;)

When does the  reg change on  the brand new cars. The reason Im asking is the daughter wants to upgrade her  Corsa for a newer one  and I was hopeing to hold her back from doing anything now till the new reg came out in the hope of getting a better deal

Cheers chaps..... March is possible but September not a cat in hells chance of holding her back till then  ::) ;D ;D

Next Question NetworkQ. Any body with good or bad stories of doing a deal with them.. As I dont want her going to the Arther Daley types as I think she is thinking of spending a large amount of cash on this next purchase.

Never mind another Corsa, how about one of these?

I saw one this colour yesterday, no alloys. Higher than it was wide. puff of wind and it might be over.

V6 rear wheel drive, bags of power and sophistication.

The NetworkQ warranty is better than the original manufacturers one :y

So she's not going brand spanking new then :-? Some very good deals to be had... When I bought SWMBO her Panda 20 months ago it was just under £800 more for a brand new, better spec car than a second hand, £6k mile one :y :y

VX have extended the lifetime warranty for new cars to some used cars up to 1 year old. At least my local dealer has - I think that warranty is Network Q based.

Check out this partner programme stuff in case she is employed by a qualifying organisation - outside chance that discounts on new may be comparable with nearly new purchase

No not brand new mate ... It was me just thinking with the new cars coming out the NQ dealers would  prob  offer a slightly better deal after  this date plus " THE MUST HAVES "  would have already got the  new reg car and she would have a better choice

Keep a close eye... They often have a sale just before the new reg to make space :y

I purchased my Omega over 5 and a half years ago on NetworkQ froma main VX dealer and was very pleased with the service.  They went through everything with the inspection, replaced a tyre, did the cambelt, etc.  very good indeed.  HBV was replaced under the warranty after 3 months.  Booked car in for the first service 12 months later and nightmare.  Put some idiot on it.  Never been back to that garage since.

Buy a one or two year old car privately with full s/h & save yourself a fortune. Plenty about. :y

My omega, i bought on Network Q, and couldnt fault the warranty......altho they may have not been told it was being used as a cab  :-X
For 12months i didnt have to spend a penny on it (except servicing)....they even replaced the brake pads FOC  :y

That was my comment on NetworkQ being better than Manufacturers warranty... They guarantee everything (including brakes, clutch, exhaust, tyres) except service items for 1 year or x miles :y
