Well, he's gone up in my estimation --- stinking rich and the world is his oyster, yet still stops to help someone in trouble --- Good on him  :y

I have met him, very briefly. A very decent chap, seems to me. Taller than he looks on telly.

He enjoyed the game apparently.  ::) ;) Man u 1-0 tottenham. Chatted quite happily. Signed autographs, posed for pics with all the kids and loved it. Didn't much care for his over zealous security as I recall.

He did something many of us have done before and would be prepared to do again.  He may be a decent chap but I cant help think that this is all a little too much praise.

An opinion formed long before today G, but your right, to an extent. Might expect some paranoia about getting out of a car in public from some "stars", and I am sure if asked he would agree with you. Just proves he hasn't disappeared up is own other end IMO. Nout else.  :y

I know what you mean Guffer :y :y

However I think we are so used to thinking all "celebraties" are shallow, self centred and greedy, that it is always a great surprise to hear one is a genuinely lovely person.  Johnny Depp is another one who fits into this category 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)
