LOL, opposite to ours then - hes so lazy its unreal!  He has very selective hearing, but if he hears a bit of rustling in the kitchen then he is straight in there lol.

I suppose he did his hardwork when he was a racer.

Heres my big eejit, Sam. Sadly he died a couple of years ago in my arms of old age, 12, which I believe is quite good for an Alsation? Still miss the big loon so much. Not a bad bone in his body.

We have semi wild dogs here, mostly look like dingos.

They visit us from time to time and kill as many of our poultry as they can.

Can't post any pictures as they don't stay long enough for mug shots or gun shots come to think of it!

None now as i could'nt put the time in, much as i'd love to. I've posted this once before but we have many new members now so bear with me please.
We always had dogs throughout my childhood. When i was 11 or 12 we got "Lucky", he was a little black Cocker spaniel & was a rescue dog, we guessed to be 4 or 5 years old & came with the name. Unintentionally he & i kind of adopted eachother. Hew slept on my bed every night (much to the disgust of our Red Setter & Irish Wheaten Terrier) ran alongside my bike without a lead when i did my paper round....etc etc. After i left home he just got old & tired to the point where Dad (retired Vet) had to put him to sleep. I'm guessing i was about 21/22 by then & drove down to the surgery. I put Lucky on the table & Dad gave him the jab. I stroked his head with one hand & the last thing he did was look at me & put his paw in my other hand.
   I REALLY miss him.

 :-X Choked here now! :'(

:-* Once you`ve lost your heart to a dog; nothing can ever be the same once they`ve gone! :-*
were your brought up on Winnie the pooh Debs? When Lucky's coat was due a clipping i used to call him "Woozle!! Just remembered that! I'm a bit sniffly at the mo!! ::)

I have a three year old Weimerana called Monty, which some of you will have met at the last Newent meet. His specialist role was keeping the bbq area tidy, disposing of dropped sausages, burgers buns etc :). He needs a lot of off lead exercise so it's great that I live near miles of isolated beaches and acres of woodand.

Just had another look at the picture of Monty no wonder he is giving you evils when you took his photo Jimbob. At the next meet we are at you had better watch out for the laxitive burgers and by the way Monty says he is going to poo in your petrol tank! >:( ;)

Just caught up on this thread condolances to all that have lost a furry family friend in the past.
I'm not a dog fan but our family have got one,I call it spaz dog as it is a cross between a collie and a staffie. It has got the brain of a flea and is spring loaded as it can jump six foot fences with ease !
It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't keep chasing it's tail every five minutes and rolling in fox poo when it goes for a walk
