Judging by DTM's experiance, I'm not surprised!

1100 jobs at risk :( as sad as it is for the employees, when they came out to me a few months back they were useless. Poor customer service and the guy had to come out twice to finish the job properly.

My forced experience with them was good, both times ::)

But at the end of the day it's down to the individual fitting centres/fitters :y

I wonder if they've actually shattered, or whether they've just cracked ,in which case it might be repairable... ;D

Good.

rather useless fitters, rather useless management, rather poor quality products, rather useless training.

I just hope none of the above end up ruining any of the other better windscreen companies

They have actually gone into Administration, which is a posh word for gone bust but may be recoverable by the Admins, the bottom line is they will probably get bought out for a £1 by Autoglass or RAC Windscreens who take on their debts, use this excuse to get legally rid of some of a mixture of crappy Staff and offset the losses against their year end profits and get rid of some of the competition at the same time.

RAC Windscreens became Auto Windscreens......mainly because RAC Windscreens were getting such a bad name.

But hey, you cant polish a poo and as I have said many times, if your rubbish, your product is sub-standard and your quality is not good......sooner or later the customer cottons on and goes elsewhere.....

Thought RAC and Auto windscreens were one and the same :-/ :-/

Dare say Autoglass will go for it though... It won't save all the jobs but should save a fair few :y
