Anyone been to Wroughton on one of the few days it seems to be open?

I think I could spend hours days there. :y

never been there mate. i try to avoid swindon and its not so magic roundabout!!!

Ive been, went last year....made an effort as i only live a few miles away  ::)

I only had an hour 'time slot' .....not sure i could spend the day there tho'!

I certainly wouldnt travel all the way from Spain just to visit  ::)

organized a club trip there 10 years ago everyone enjoyed the day out so much to see in the deep store sheds ( rotary diesel engine ! ) all manor of odd things 1926 fiat petrol/electric car.  the priose is not new .

brilliant place!!! its more for the wierd and whacky things they have stored as well as the strange and unusual,
definetly not your usual run of the mill museum through and through good day!!

Been there several times .. its less than 10 miles from me ...  :)  One day is NOT enough to see everything they have there, absolutely fascinating some of the more "mundane" stuff ... yeah the airplanes are great . but things like the collection of radios and bikes .... and loads amore stuff you don't think of as 2museum" stuff .. but it is history...  :)

Visited Wroughton a few years ago now .........  :y

Had a great day out, and transport from the Principality was aboard my (then!) friends preserved AEC Reliance coach - which I drove :D

Mrs Sethsmate was indeed impressed ..........  ;)
