Or me, given it some thought but would get hung, drawn and quartered at the moment if I even mentioned it.... :( :( :(

had a saloon version, not so rare.

you could actually climb in the engine bay to work on the motor!!

I've had 2 of the saloons.. A VX2300 with a vinyl roof, which came off on the M11 and a VX490  which had a zetrac (sp) gearbox where 1st gear was on a dogleg and all the other gears were back to front... 2nd where 1st should be and 3rd where 2nd etc...

I remember them,only the last few got that box from memory,I know where one of them is now but its very tatty

A nice old bus in good nick if it's as described.
Never a fan of the slanted engine TBH, it was slow ureliable & juicy.

 That said, cheers for the post & it's always good to see an old motor living on. Hope she goes to a good home & attends a few shows after a good valet! 8-)
