Title: any ipod wizzes out there 5th gen

my 15 year old is in crisis that she cant turn on her ipod. ive gone through the play/menu press reset to no avail. if it isnt the battery totally dead what next ????  her life is at an end...... drama queen. ta tone. ::)

Iirc Guffer repairs them etc. Might be worth speaking to him. :-/

If it's completely dead and she hasn't done something terminal like dropping it or getting it wet then it is likely to be the battery, cheap and easy to fix once you get inside the bugger although make sure you get a decent battery.  Many replacement ones (ebay) are pants, they dont last long and suffer from deep discharge failure.
