Well it seems that LG have started a war with Sony over their Play Station 3 and the Blue Ray contained within! Imports have been banned! :o :o :o

I'd say if you wanted a Play Station 3 this is the time to buy one! ::) ::)

The stupid US patent war has spread here. >:( >:(
LG if found wrong could be liable for more than Sony if they are found. ::)
Looks like they are patenting obvious ideas, ie stuff which should not be patented.
Like enter numbers to change a channel. :-X :-X

No, its not.
That said, in this case, I reckon LG has a valid case here, even though I suspect this is just a tit-for-tat move.
It would be enormously funny if LG won this BluRay patent battle ;D. Not sure if Sony's usual semi-bribery methods will work for the Europeans, suspect it will. But I can live in hope :y
I understand that the Bravia TV range is also affected.

Sorry Lizzie but it's boring me
It's another tit-for-tat corporate grizzle.
Nothing new in that, happens all the time in the technology industry

Basically they are patent trolling each other
All Blu Ray players HAVE to do these patents to work.
One of the TV patents is.....
Typing in a channel number on the remote to watch it on both analogue and digital TV - wow my previous TV did this 11 years ago 1 was BBC1 DTTV and 91 was BBC1 analogue
