Of course the question is slightly wrong. It should be"If you had vast amounts of money". Let's be honest, the price of £695k would be trivial to someone who had millions and, paradoxically, could well be a shrewd investment..as long as you don't drive it, that is. In years to come, there is a possibility that such cars will be sought-after treasures. A memory of the days when speed was king. If the greens get their way, this couldd be amongst the last of the supercars before we're all forced to buy Morgan Three-Wheelers ( ;))so, if I had millions, yes I might invest.
-
No its so dam ugly ;D
-
Each choice will obviously be dependent on the user and their purpose for ownership. the Bugatti will undoubtedly be good for stretches of "endless" motorways with no speed restrcitions and possibly taking in some excellent views of certain mountain passes.
I also agree with Nickbat, but it was made for driving, although it may good to look at as a piece of art. But it must hold its value and there will be only be a very specific market who could entertain whatever price it may exchange hands for.
The boat is my personally choice as it could hold more people, entertainment, business meetings and special events etc 8-) 8-)

If I had the money I would solve the school issue.

Not really, he made another post, and it is generally school fighting time ::) as it is School review time, a time that I rise to the challenge, with a good record of challenges. I have our special school trained now, I have a great reputation with them despite sometimes having to challenge their decisions.... :D just about to start working on another school that has a unit for special needs and needs educating.... :-X
-
Of course, if you find the money for the fees you then need to find the money for Uni as well. Otherwise youve probably wasted a lot of time and money. ;)
Could always move to Scotland I suppose. ::) :-X

aah the last of the supercars - Top Gear's been predicting that for over a decade, and yet the Koenniggsiggthingy exists, Lambo goes from strength to strength since Audi took over, Audi themselves make the R8, Ferrari bring out a new supercar every month seemingly, Porsche GT, Aston Martin, even Ford brought back the GT40! these days the list goes on - the death of the supercar has long and widely been predicted but i cant remember a period in history where we had more supercars than we do now :y
as for the Bugatti - its a marvellous technological achievement, but i'll have a prancing horse any day of the week thanks ;)

We would not get an 80% bursary for three lucky to get one

I would out it would cost over £200,000 to put all three through private education.
When we got the bursary we didn't realise that one of the twins was as bright as my daughter, who is VERY bright. But the boys are both a bit lazy.
We were going for an under subscribed academy which we have visited and found pretty good, in fact I would put it as top below the 3 privates. I suppose specialising in sciences could be the problem.
I have been in all secondary schools except 2 in Worcester (AFAIK) (1 penguin and 1 other side of river).
The one offered is the only one I thought no bloody way! Scecialising in Performance (F)arts >:( >:( >:( >:(
The 2 easy to get to ones, 1 is always over subscribed, the other has really pulled up from sink to good in one year, buildings were OK, just got decent management.
-
Yes I would love it! :D :D :y :y :y :y

i've a pal from Denmark who can't understand why no one in Britain goes and studies in Copenhagen - its free and all lectures are in English (Danes speak it way better than we do anyway) - mad :y
-
If I won £10mil+ I would buy it all day long.....be rude not to....! :o
-
Had I have won the £90M eurolottery I would have bought it, enjoyed it then have had a heart transplant from that to an Omega Estate ready to teach them a lesson at santa pos for a run what yer brung meet.
Along with the FWD transit turbo diesal with a 454 big block chevy twin turbo powering the rear wheels to effectivly make it 2 x 4 wheel drive vehicles to play against each other. ::)
-
ther than the above I fancy a 3.2 Elite estate and an XJR as daily runners. :y

I'm surprised by how many of you seem unimpressed with the Veyron - I think its utterly amazing, and is the only (yes, only) supercar I covet.
I'm unmoved by Lambo's, indifferent to Ferrari's (tho I do like the 458, and the older 456), think the Koenigsegg and the Zonda are both risible, and what links all of those is their showiness, their shouty-ness - "Hey look at me!", something that only a certain type of driver would find agreeable. I'm not one of them.
I Have a lot of respect for the Porsche marque, and most Astons are just lovely, but not sure they should be considered as supercars.
The Veyron is a an epic road-burner of genuine engineering innovation and brilliance, it's small enough and well-designed enough to have some real-world practicality, it sounds AMAZING, and, personally, I LOVE the look of the thing.
So, yes, if I had mega-money, I'd buy two of them..... :)
-
If I had the money, yes I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
-
Nope, Ascari A10 for me.
With that sort of income/cash available though, maybe both at some point... Maybe, perhaps a bit of a brouse, bit of mans shopping, build a garage the size of a football pitch, some 2post lifts built into the floor, snap on tool chests, bikes on one side couple of motocrossers, zx12,new blade, desmosedichi, ktm duke, gold wing, cars the other,vxr8, a10, then and only then possibly a Gayron, maybe a boat house at the back backed on to the river later. Then sell the house and move in to the "garage".... 8-)
Note to self.
(Yeah right. Dream on fat boy)
;D
-
No, sorry but not impressed with supercars. I get frowned on by some for driving the MV6 like a t**t so what use is this to me? As someone said £695,000 for a car? As an investment maybe but if i had the money for a screamer i'd save a fortune & go for this.

far too high mileage for me...... ;D
-
Not in a million years.
Why?
Because it really is a waste to spend of this amount of money on ANY car. :o
And thats even if you could afford it.
-
Guess it depends how much we love cars?
A few more takers in car chat i guess? ::) :-X
